OVER 400 UNITS SOLD AT VERDON PARC
VERDON Parc, DMCI Homes' first project in Davao City, is currently enjoying brisk sales as more than 400 units have been sold.
"We are surprised we have been experiencing brisk sales since January even though we are not that visible and with other developers around," said Alfredo Austria, DMCI Homes president, during a media interview at the inauguration of Verdon Parc's clubhouse on Saturday. He said many of the buyers are businessmen and are mostly coming from Davao City and neighboring cities and provinces.
Some of their clients are buying units as an investment while others are end users. Recently, the first residential building of Verdon Parc, Martel, has already been completed and the company has already turned over the units to its first batch of homeowners.
The first building has a less than 200 units of one and two bedroom offerings. On Saturday last week,
Verdon Parc inaugurated its clubhouse and amenities, which highlights the three-hectare property's resort-inspired community. Verdon Parc's amenities include a lap pool, two kiddie pools, lounge pool, open lounge, audio-visual room, function room, snack bar, open air multi-purpose sports area, fitness gym, children's play area, outdoor fitness area, and activity lawn area. There will also be a covered court, which will be constructed.
The development will also feature three high-rise buildings, Belvedere, Trevans, and Maurin, that will feature sky lounges. The buildings will also have DMCI Homes' proprietary Lumiventt design as well as three-story high sky patios to enhance natural lighting and ventilation.
The construction of the three buildings are now on various stages. The company hopes to complete the development of Verdon Parc by 2021.
Aside from Verdon Parc, DMCI Homes is looking into putting up an additional development in Davao City. However, Austria said this is still in the drawing board. The company is eyeing to hopefully develop a midrise development in Maa at the same time they are also studying the market to see if they should develop another project here in Davao City.
